Since its inception in 2015, the Northeast Georgia Trauma Symposium brings together local and nationally recognized experts for a day packed with education, innovation, and maybe even a few laughs.
Northeast Georgia Trauma Symposium
This isn’t just another conference; it’s an opportunity to stay ahead with the latest advancements and premier trauma care insights. We spend months planning every detail to ensure we deliver the absolute best content for trauma care professionals in the region. Plus, let’s be real—who doesn’t love earning credit for showing up? And because we know the way to anyone’s heart is through good food, we’ll keep you well-fed. The only thing you’ll be hungry for is more knowledge.
Who are we?
RTAC Region 2 is vital to Northeast Georgia’s trauma system, working hard to ensure top-notch care for our communities. Trauma care isn’t exactly what you’d call “fun”—it’s tough work that takes the toughest people, but we know the value of balancing the hard stuff with a little levity.
We aim to develop and maintain the region’s trauma system plan while fostering compliance and continuous improvement. We’re a collaborative group of EMS agencies, clinicians, hospital personnel, local governments, and community members dedicated to improving trauma care. While our mission is serious, we also believe in making the journey worthwhile—with engaging education, meaningful connections, and yes, even a little fun along the way.
